Honeycomb POD system.

Why the honeycomb?

beehive-shelterThe beehive’s internal structure is a densely packed matrix of hexagonal cells called a honeycomb. The bees use the cells to store food, and to house the “brood”. The hexagonal shape perfectly distributes and disperses the external man-made or environmental forces thus protecting its contents. The hexagon also allows simple expandability by adding hexagon segments to the perimeter of the honeycomb. The simplicity of the hexagonal shape creates an incredibly strong and smart design which provides great security for the bees.

Scalable & Customizable

From the simplicity of a single family pod to the complexity of an entire community, the Beehive Shelter maintains exact engineering techniques while allowing unlimited flexibility in design parameters.
